This is a donation-based offering led by a collective of yoga teachers from Astoria, Queens. Hosted by Sol Yoga Project.

We are a group of community members in Astoria and across New York City who are horrified at what is occurring in Palestine in Gaza, from the north of Gaza to the south in Rafah. We strongly condemn the ongoing genocide, occupation, and aid blockade that the state and government of Israel is waging against the indigenous people of Palestine. It is atrocious and we are here to take action to support Palestinians on the ground who are fighting for their lives daily by genocide, bombings, airstrikes, famine, and "war" that is funded by our American government and our had-earned tax dollars.
We are fundraising to help support Palestinians and Gazans on the ground through Ele Elna Elak's GoFundMe and campaign that trusted Gazan and Palestinian journalist Bisan has been promoting on Instagram and social media. All proceeds collected will go to support Palestinians across Gaza to get clean water, cash, and other needs. We are hoping to try to make this a long-term, ongoing project for various causes and needs globally. We will be selling clothes and other materials to fundraise. You can also donate directly to the GoFundMe account here.

The 31st Ave Open Street Collective is the group that organizes and operates the open street. Volunteers will be available at the table to help check programmers in, answer questions from the public, and ensure the street is running smoothly.
