The Astoria Food Pantry is a community hub for mutual aid action.
Borne through the COVID-19 crisis, the Pantry maintains a storefront on Steinway Street that offers free food, clothing and books to our neighbors. An active programming partner and market vendor of the Open Street, they’ve hosted a number of drives—for food, and clothing—as well as bigger events, like the annual ‘Halloween and Giving’ and Holiday Market, which raised over $10,000 for the Pantry.
